Pakistan’s First Affordable Housing Society
Garden Square is the First-Ever Private Sector Low-Cost Housing Project under the banner of the Naya Housing Scheme set forth by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. He said, “Our vision is to make the houses affordable for all, no matter which strata of the society they belong to.”
The Project is launched in Mor Eminabad, Gujranwala, and intends to deliver 3 and 5 Marla houses at the most affordable prices to the low-income segments of Pakistan. The Bank of Punjab will provide financial assistance in the form of loans on easy terms for home buyers.

Making Affordable Housing a Reality
Garden Square is a project which ensures that the process of buying a modern house is convenient and affordable for the lower-income segments of Pakistan. To guarantee this easy installment of 5-30 years starting as low as 20,000 per month with a reduced markup rate is introduced by the Bank of Punjab to facilitate the people in light of the directives of the Prime Minister. For a five-marla house, the mark-up rate for the first five years will be 5%, for the next five years it will be 7% and after ten years it will be according to the market rate.
